Avro 85

The Avro Jet is one of the nicer regional aircraft. While Lufthansa operates their ARJs in a 3-3 configuration (which is horribly cramped), Northwest flies a nice 2-3 seating, which offers quite a nice amount of space for travelers. The only down side is the wing, since it reduces the cabin height in the center of the aircraft. Also, because the four engines are right outside the windows, many seats don't get a good view.

Row 5

Since there is only a curtain between First and Economy Classes, these seats offer great legroom. They may be a little noisy and have a limited view due to the engines. Also overhead space is limited.

Under the wing

For a regional aircraft, the seats on this plane are surprisingly comfortable and offer decent legroom. These rows may be a little noisy and have a limited view due to the engines. Also overhead space is very limited due to the curving wing structure.

Last row

This row does recline, but you'll be really close to the lavatory.
