The 757 is used nationwide and now has two entirely different configurations. However, you will not have to fear sudden changes from one to the other, since the newer p.s. configuration is used exclusively used for the new p.s. (Premium Service) routes from New York to the west coast. This is the regular configuration.
There is a video system with ceiling mounted screens and full audio entertainment including live air traffic communications on Channel 9.
The wall in front of these seats reduces you legroom significantly. Howver, a cutout for your feet makes up for some of that.

Some flyers report that this row has limited or no recline. Others say that it offers regular recline. In any case, noise from the nearby galley and lavatory can be disturbing.
The emergency equipment casing next to the door in front of this seat reduces your legroom a little, but it is still way better than average,
This seat is considered an exit seat and offers additional legroom. The emergency equipment casing next to the door in front of this seat reduces your space a little, but it is still way better than average. These might be the best seats on the entire 757. The only disadvantage is that people tend to congregate in front of this row. Also you might feel disturbed by the nearby galley and the carts that are occasionally parked in front of you.
These really nice seats have plenty of legroom, eventhough it is not as much as 9 B and C offer.

Better than average legroom, but no recline. Decide for yourself.
Full recline and better than average legroomn make these seats recommendable.
These seats are fairly noisy and have no or limited recline. Avoid them whenever possible.
There are two disadvantages to this seat. As you are sitting almost inside the galley, you might get bumped into and the seat will definitely be noisy and you have virtually no view from this seat. Also, some flyers report that the legroom is limited due to an auxiliary galley wall in front of them. I am not sure as to whether this wall exists on all 757s though, since others mentioned extra legroom as advantage of these seats. Be warned though!
